Twitter Blocks Substack Links
BEAKER SAYS FIGHT THE POWER
Hello everyone!
Normally we post on Sunday, but I thought I should let everyone know of a weird and frustrating development from Twitter.
Early this morning Twitter began making it near impossible to share substack links. At first they made it so you couldn’t respond or retweet the link. Now any substack link is marked as spam so it looks like the poster (us) is a cryptobro or something.
Also we will no longer be allowed to post tweets in the newsletter, as that is also blocked.
I LOVE writing this newsletter. I look forward to it after I get all my school stuff done for the week. Writing a fun recap of the week and then going back through our social media posts and reading the fun engagement makes the super hard work that goes into running Bunsen and Beaker worth it.
Over 3000 (and counting people) have joined The Pupdate which is just surreal.
I’ve found a workaround - by posting the link to our website, we can still share The Pupdate link on Twitter.
I can screenshot our tweets for the best of our social media.
We are hopeful this is temporary and the musky decision is reversed.
The Pupdate will continue.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful dogs and so much good information! Twitter is very frustrating these days. I joined Spoutible after checking out several alternatives. Maybe look at that?
