Thank you for sharing the information about Bunsen’s surgery. As tough as it was to read, it’s such a wonderful story of hope. Where else but Dog Twitter will a whole bunch of strangers from all over join together to pray, worry, and cry. All the while sending positive thoughts to a family and their fur baby that most of us don’t personally know but we have all grown to love. ❤️
Every time I woke up Thursday night/Friday morning, I thought of Bunsen & family. I truly believe all the positive thoughts converging on you all convinced the Universe that Bunsen is a force for good & we certainly need more of that! 🖤
Oh blimey, Jason, this has had me in tears. What an awful thing for you all to go through but how wonderful that the outcome was positive and you get to spend more time with beautiful Bunsen.
My heart was in my throat as I read this. I’m so glad things are going well and I can look forward to many more postings of Bunsens gorgeous fuzzy face . Give him a kiss from me and now I’m gonna go buy a calendar❤️
This story will go down in Twitter history as a showing of love and support from a community of people who meet weekly and talk about dogs but most have never met in real .
Thank you Jason, and Kris for sharing your lives of your dogs and Ginger (turtles too) with us.
As dog owners, we were walking with you every emotional step of the way of Bunsen’s ordeal and surgery. We have been there too.
Prayers and good thoughts of whatever you believe in pulled thru. It wasn’t Bunsen’s time.
He’s done so much in touching people making them laugh watching your videos and in classrooms as support, and in science and cosplay events.
And for those who lost pets my heartfelt sympathies to you. Never easy when this love is lost.
Thank you Bunsen. You’re my super hero and puppy puppy too. I love you and glad Kris (and Jason) will live many days with you. Hugs. 💕🐾❤️
I've been following closely on twitter and was anxiously awaiting news and was so darn happy to read that Bunsen had made it through the surgery. This morning, I was able to listen to the pet chat and it was so moving. I know what it feels like to have a dog go through emergency surgery. I'm so very happy Bunsen had an amazing outcome. Thank you for keeping us all updated. I know how stressful this is for all of you, and we thank you for making time to share everything with us. Love and hugs to you all.
You were so right to tell him he is the strongest, bravest best dog in the world. I thank God he pulled through, that he is the wonderful being he is, and that you and Kris have the talents that enabled you to share him with all of us. Thank you for all you do, and my thoughts and best wishes are with you all.
I haven’t been on Twitter much (moving house) so missed it all. When I saw your summary of the results I was shocked and went back to see what happened to our puppy-puppy bear. Thanks so much to Dr. Keys and the techs (my daughter is a tech) for doing such an amazing job!! Big hugs for everyone!

Bunsen has united dog lovers around the world. He is inspiring a global act of kindness. He is a true hero.

People say that karma’s a bitch, they forget that she rewards righteous behaviour. You and Bunsen are being rewarded for your kindness

Darn it, I am crying again. Kris’s comment struck my heart. Love to all!
I was like - me too...what was it she said again - I got halfway thru when I remembered, stopped scrolling and was teary again.
